| What we need and do to create your perfect portrait > |
| Step 1 > Your Photograph |
Step 2 > Colour |
Step 3 > Composition |
The simple rule for the photography is that the higher the quality of the photograph we receive the better the end result of the portrait.
| |
| 1. |
The photograph is clear and in focus. |
| 2. |
Include the full persons head and shoulders. |
| 3. |
If possible the background has no clutter or objects. |
| 4. |
As large or as high resolution a digital image as your camera can provide. |
When creating the colour for your pop portrait we take into consideration a number of important factors.
| |
| 1. |
Your choice of background colour (dependent on the style chosen). |
| 2. |
The colours of the portrait figure itself. (dependent on the style chosen). |
| 3. |
The information about your interior colours where your portrait will hang. |
When our artists begin the process of composition they are trying to find the best position for your face to sit within the edges of your chosen shaped canvas. Our artists, with their experience and skills will find the correct composition for the particular shape you have chosen. The composition may work having the face fill the whole canvas or just partially with a large section of colour in the background. The process is not an exact science but an artist's experience and talent. |
Step 4 > Portrait Proof |
Step 5 > Final Print & Framing |
Step 6 > Delivery & Time Scales |
| To guarantee that you will be 100% happy with your final portrait, all portraits will be proofed by you before going to print. This allows you to see the end portrait with all the illustration, composition & colours complete. This gives you the opportunity to make changes to your portrait if required. |
Once you are happy with your portrait we can then print your canvas on to either cotton canvas or photographic paper using pigment based inks which are colour strong for decades. If you would like your portrait on cotton canvas you have options to frame up onto either 1.8cm or 3.8cm depth wooden frame or leave unframed for you to frame up yourself. |
The whole process can take between 1 - 2 weeks. This allows Wallcreate time to prepare the proof and email over to you for confirmation and then make any amendments. We then print and frame up the portrait if required, package and then deliver to your doorstep. |
